Family Transition Place (FTP) is proud of this committee of dedicated men working alongside us to encourage both men and boys to change the definition of what makes “a man” and to challenge men and boys in what they can do to help break the cycle of violence against women and girls. Previously known as the Headwaters White Ribbon Committee, over the past year, the group re-branded to better align with FTP’s programs. This group is busy with year round initiatives such as generating awareness through poster campaigns, promotion of men’s engagement at FTP’s events and the MENtors are proud of their flagship event – the Walk in her Shoes event. All of these actions are helping FTP aspire to its vision of – creating a community free of abuse where all women, children and men are treated with respect and equality and live in healthy relationships within their family.
